Mrs. Davis

I’m proud to say this is my 14th year here at Parkview School.   This is a terrific school district with a great community and I am dedicated to the continued success of Parkview School.  You will often hear me use the phrase We are Parkview!  This is to stress how important it is that we all work together for the betterment of our students and our school.  This includes all staff, members of the community, and especially parents.   Together we can make this a great school year.  Thanks to everyone for your help and support.

Please do not hesitate to call 698-3610 or e-mail me at bjockisch@cc76.k12.il.us.  I look forward to hearing from you.

Parkview School Art Club

Parkview School Art Club has 27 students who meet at LaSalle School. The Students are involved in making life sized portraits from plaster casts! The Club is sponsored by Miss Holly Callahan, who always has new and innovative ways to keep students excited about art. "This is just the first step (plaster gauzing our faces). When we are completely done with the project we will have life size self portrait dummies."

A Lesson In Physics

Mr. Kluesner's Science class created potato launchers for a lesson in physics.Spud lauchers work via a sudden build up of pressure in the combustion chamber applying a force to the projectile. This force accelerates the projectile down the barrel from which it then leaves at a high velocity.
